Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role At A GlanceWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in pharmaceutical renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently planning and executing assignments requiring advanced expertise. This position entails addressing complex engineering challenges refining established protocols and leveraging comprehensive engineering knowledge to optimize design standards reduce costs and elevate work quality. Effective collaboration with internal teams clients and external agencies is an essential component of this You Will DoPlan and conduct complex engineering assignments with minimal supervision applying extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering and its impact on other disciplines as well as National and Provincial Building Codes ASHRAE NFPA and other relevant codes and established guidelines and devise new approaches to meet project requirements. Apply existing criteria in innovative ways and draw conclusions from comparative and recommend improvements in design standards to lower costs and enhance work unique design and engineering issues through innovative approaches or criteria and develop guidelines and investigations for other team members to enhance problem-solving complex tasks ensuring projects are completed efficiently and mid-sized to large projects ensuring adherence to budget schedule and performance objectives for HVAC plumbing fire protection and control systems in various progress reports recommend design changes estimate costs and recommend payments for completed and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues clients and external design problems explain design features and specifications and outline project control and maintain client contacts to seek or provide technical information related to with clients to discuss project progress challenges and with various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the team and company a commitment to company values of quality client focus teamwork sustainability and community integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues clients and You Bring to the TableBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent certification of 7 years of experience in an engineering role preferably within a consulting knowledge of engineering principles design standards and best ability to solve complex engineering problems using innovative communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients colleagues and external in relevant engineering software and management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage mid-sized to large at WalterFedyAs a national innovative multi-discipline design and construction collective our ambition goes beyond great design we are here to enhance the world around us.
