Job Summary

As a Senior Program Manager (SPM) the SPM focuses on leading complex projects from initiation to closure overseeing scope budget and timelines while managing cross-functional teams mitigating risks and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Key duties include strategic planning resource allocation process improvement reporting to executives and mentoring junior PMs requiring strong leadership communication.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Define project scope objectives and deliverables; create detailed plans schedules and budgets; track progress and manage resources.

  • Stakeholder & Team Management: Communicate regularly with stakeholders and executives; lead motivate and mentor project teams; resolve issues; manage vendors.

  • Risk & Quality: Implement risk management plans; ensure quality standards and compliance; report on performance and risks.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to maturing project management methodologies; utilize project management tools (e.g. DevOps).

  • Business Development: Assist with proposals RFPs and estimates.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in project management business management or related area of study.

  • 10-15 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role.

  • Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing products or services.

  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.

  • Aviation industry experience.
