Job Summary
Job Title: Team Member / Shift Operator
Location: Northampton
Full Time 6 Month FTC
Shifts: 4 on 4 off

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner 1664 Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks Carlsberg Britvics brands include J2O Robinsons Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX 7UP Lipton Ice Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together the one common goal remains and that is ensuring our people succeed.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operate brewing and processing plant equipment safely and efficiently following all standard operating procedures.
- Deliver production plans sampling schedules service level agreements and key performance targets.
- Take ownership of problemsolving process optimisation and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping ensuring equipment and work areas are clean during and after each shift.
- Drive health safety and environmental improvements across the operation.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and internal/external customers through effective communication and teamwork.
- Perform Cleaning Inspection and Lubrication (CIL) tasks and support maintenance teams with routine and breakdown activities.
- Operate plant for raw material intake milling mashing wort separation boiling fermentation and filtration to deliver rightfirsttime product quality.
- Participate in Carlsberg Excellence and other continuous improvement initiatives to embed best practice.
- Provide shift cover for the Shift Brewing Manager when required ensuring continuity of safe and efficient operations
Experience and Key Attributes required:
- Experience of working in a fast-moving production environment
- IT literacy (QC/SPC Word Excel)
- Have knowledge of the relevant Health Safety & Environmental considerations
- Understanding of right first time principles
- Full UK Working Rights Sponsorship is not available for this role.
