Semmes Murphey Clinic is expanding its commitment to exceptional patient care with the launch of our new Office-Based Lab (OBL). We are seeking an experienced and driven OBL Manager to play a key role in launching our in-house diagnostic angiogram service line.
This role is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in a leadership position enjoys building processes from the ground up and is passionate about delivering high-quality clinical care. This position oversees clinical operations staffing training compliance and patient experience. During the planning and construction phases of the OBL the Manager will also help shape workflows procedures and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn clinic standards and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) workflows to ensure alignment across departments
- Draft and propose OBL standard operating procedures
- Build relationships with vendors for equipment supplies and medications
- Support licensing and credentialing efforts with the ASC/OBL Director
- Assist with interviewing hiring and training of clinical and administrative staff
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing schedules and daily assignments
- Lead employee orientation training and performance reviews
- Oversee inventory control processes
- Serve as a liaison between patients families and clinical teams
- Recommend updates to patient care policies
- Promote a positive image of the facility to patients physicians and the community
Requirements
Minimum:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years of nursing experience
- Current RN license in Tennessee
- BLS Certification
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience in an Ambulatory or Outpatient Surgery Center
- ACLS certification
