How youll contribute

APolysomnographic Technician (BRPT)who excels in this role:

Provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.
Prepare for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test.
Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
Perform testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted.
Score interpret and report results of sleep studies.
Educate patients about test results sleep disorders community support groups and available resources.
Prepare calibrate repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs and replacements.
Maintain proper supplies to care for patients.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

Sleep lab experience and/or education.
Associates degree preferred.
RPSGT or RST preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
