Job Summary
PART TIME JANITORIAL SPECIALIST
LOCATION: DETROIT
Job Function:
As a Janitorial Specialist at Allied youll learn about all of our accounts and travel to various locations to cover shifts or provide additional assistance where its needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Restrooms
- Vacuum sweep and mop
- Collect trash
- Wipe surfaces
- Other various cleaning related tasks
Minimum Qualifications :
- Flooring/stipping/waxing and supervisor experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Reliability and strong attendance record
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
Optional Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial custodial or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment (floor buffers auto-scrubbers carpet cleaners)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend stoop kneel crouch and reach frequently
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools when necessary
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping mopping wiping and vacuuming
