What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions 

As a Software Tester you will be a cornerstone of quality within an Agile team. Your work will have a direct impact on the reliability and user experience of our Windows and Web applications used by healthcare professionals across Quebec.

In this role you will collaborate with developers analysts and the product owner to validate features from their design stage optimize testing strategies and advance automation. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable quality.

How will your contributions be showcased

Quality & Validation

• Analyze requirements define acceptance criteria and plan testing activities
• Design and execute functional integration regression and system tests
• Develop maintain and optimize automated tests (Python Selenium TestComplete)
• Prepare test environments and data
• Identify document and track defects through resolution

Collaboration & Agility

• Work closely with developers analysts product teams and operations
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and clearly communicate quality risks
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes tools and practices

Impact & Leadership

• Influence the teams quality strategy
• Propose innovative solutions to reduce risks
• Improve test coverage and delivery robustness

Qualifications :

What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance
• At least 5 years of experience in automation with Python Selenium or TestComplete
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Strong experience in writing test plans and cases
• Expertise in automation (Python Selenium TestComplete)
• Knowledge of Windows Web environments (React Typescript) and Oracle Forms
• Familiarity with defect and test management tools (Jira XRay)
• Understanding of REST APIs application logs and CI/CD concepts
• SQL knowledge (will be considered an asset)
• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot (will be considered an asset)
• Resourcefulness and autonomy: you find solutions unblock issues and learn quickly
• Critical thinking and curiosity: you analyze question and suggest improvements
• Exemplary teamwork: strong communication skills and ability to move the team forward
• Customer focus: you understand the impact of solutions on users and the healthcare network
• Attention to detail and rigor while keeping the big picture in mind
• This position requires bilingualism with an excellent level of French as you will work with documentation primarily in French and communicate orally and in writing with partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues who are mainly French-speaking. A good knowledge of English will be considered an asset.
