The Opportunity

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join the operations based in Townsville. Our Distribution business includes quality brands such as Orrcon Distribution BlueScope Distribution Metalcorp and Impact Steel.

This is a hands-on role where youll operate forklifts and overhead cranes to prepare customer orders check product quality and work safely alongside a great group of people. No two days are the same and full training is provided so you dont need to have done this before to succeed!

This role is a Monday-Friday position working 8.30am-4.30pm with the intent on moving to our afternoon shift down the track (2pm-10pm).

What will you do

• safely operating gantry cranes and forklifts to load/unload trucks
• picking and packing orders with accuracy
• learn how to operate process machinery
• general warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly
• working as part of a friendly safety-focused team

Youll be provided with ongoing training and development giving you the opportunity to progress to within our salary framework.
