Job Summary
Job Description: Airtable Specialist & Systems Architect
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Airtable Specialist & Systems Architect to lead our transition to a centralized Airtable ecosystem. This is a Builder role not a project management role. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design development and implementation of our new internal information systems.
The ideal candidate understands how to translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical workflows leveraging deep knowledge of Airtables database schema automations and API capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
System Architecture: Architect a robust project management system from scratch ensuring data integrity and scalability across multiple business units.
Advanced Automations: Build and maintain sophisticated workflows using native Airtable Automations and third-party tools (e.g. Make/Zapier).
API & Tech Stack Integration: Develop seamless integrations between Airtable and our existing software suite to ensure a Single Source of Truth.
Interface Design: Use Airtable Interface Designer to build custom dashboards and front-end views tailored to different departmental needs.
Consultative Build: Partner with leadership to audit current manual processes and code them into automated Airtable solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Airtable Mastery: Expert knowledge of relational database design linked records complex formulas and rollup/lookup fields.
Systems Thinking: The ability to visualize how data flows through an entire organization not just a single spreadsheet.
Integration Expert: Proficiency in working with APIs and Webhooks to connect disparate tools.
Problem Solver: A track record of taking a messy manual process and turning it into a streamlined digital system.
