Position:Receiving and ShippingSpecialist
Job Location: Henderson KY
Reports to:Materials Manager
Summary:TheShipping & ReceivingSpecialistis responsible forcoordinating theaccuratetimely and safe movement of materials and finished goods in and out of the facility. This role supports daily operations byschedulinginbound and outbound shipmentsmaintaininginventory accuracy and working closely with productionlogisticspartners and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate outbound shipments to customers and other facilities
Prepare and verify shipping documents (BOLs packing slips labels)
Schedule carriers and confirm pickup and delivery times
Ensure shipments meet quality quantity and safety requirements
Communicate shipment status and resolve shipping issues
Receive inspect and verify incoming materials and supplies
Match deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips
Enter receipts into inventory and ERP systems
Report shortages damages or discrepancies promptly
Maintainaccurateinventory records and documentation
Support cycle counts and inventory audits
Coordinate with production materials and warehouse teams
Follow all safety environmental and company procedures
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDrequiredadditionaleducation a plus
2 years of shipping receiving orlogisticsexperience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems shipping software and basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical and Work Environment Demands:
Work is mostly performed in a climate-controlled setting.
Could be exposed to noise dust and varying temperatures.
Ability to lift push and pull moderate weights asrequiredfor shipping and receiving tasks.
Sitting walking and/orbending for extended periods asrequired.
