Corporate Counsel (1368)

Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated attorney with 1-3 years experience with an interest in a career in an in-house legal department at a fast-paced technology company. You will be joining a small legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of software licensing transactions privacy and security and general corporate areas. This is a hybrid role with expectations of being in our Boston corporate office 3 days per week.

• Draft review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements master services agreements sales licensing agreements amendments NDAs Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with security export control sanctions and privacy regulations.
• Assist with employee-related/HR matters.
• Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts.
• Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries.
• Draft and maintain internal security export control sanctions ESG and privacy policies.
• Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations.
• Assist with real estate transactions.

What youll need to be successful:

• Bachelors degree J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting.
• Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus.

The total rewards package for this role is expected to include an annual salary between $100000$125000 determined based on factors such as relevant experience skills and qualifications. Additional compensation may include a comprehensive benefits package.
