AECOM is seeking a talented a Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation Business Line in Greenville South this role you will:
- Prepare traffic signal plans and perform safety studies using MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Conduct Roadway traffic ITS and drainage engineering design.
- Formulate traffic engineering-related plans and supporting documents including traffic signal plans traffic control plans electrical detail sheets temporary signal plans
- Organize conceptual safety plans and roadway improvement plans
- Conducts signal warrant analyses
- Assist in traffic analysis concept development and traffic operation studies
- Develop traffic signal plans traffic control plans signing and pavement marking plans utilities coordination utilizing MicroStation AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software applications and MS Office applications
- Provide additional traffic engineering services using design software SYNCHRO and HCS to prepare engineering and design documents
Qualifications :
Minimum:
- Bacheors degree in Civil Engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred:
- Experience designing traffic plans and performing safety studies using MicroStation and or AutoCAD or similar software applications
- Experience formulating traffic engineering-related studies
