This role requires expertise in nuclear security programs and the ability to implement and oversee multiple security disciplines while maintaining critical stakeholder position offers the opportunity to lead critical security operations in a dynamic environment supporting national security Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of technical security programs for DOE and DoD operationsImplement and ensure compliance with DOE security Orders Policies and proceduresProvide expert oversight of nuclear security programs and protocolsCoordinate personnel security support including background investigations and clearance managementManage physical security operations and infrastructure protectionOversee information security and cybersecurity support functionsConduct and supervise document review processes for security complianceEstablish and maintain productive working relationships with Federal State and local law enforcement agenciesEnsure protection of personnel and government property through comprehensive security planningLead security assessments and develop risk mitigation strategiesRequired Qualifications:Education:Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent accredited courseworkExperience:10 years of DOE or DoD technical security programs experienceExpertise:Working expert knowledge of all nuclear security programsSpecialized Skills: Demonstrated experience in:Personnel security supportPhysical security supportInformation security supportCybersecurity supportDocument review supportClearance Requirement:Must obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with DOE security requirements and regulatory environmentKnowledge of gaseous diffusion technologyExperience with declassification efforts and processesAdvanced certifications in security management or related fieldsSkills and Competencies:Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with law enforcement and government agenciesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of federal security regulations and compliance requirementsAbility to handle sensitive and classified information appropriatelyOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
