What Youll Do
- Perform Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and margin analysis on inverter control and sensor boards including MCU controllers resolver interfaces PMICs power trees voltage/current sensors and digital communications (CAN SPI I²C Ethernet)
- Conduct circuit simulations using SPICE and MATLAB to validate designs across component tolerances temperature extremes and voltage variations
- Lead Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for control and sensor boards working cross-functionally with Safety and Reliability teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Support the design team with analytical validation of power management architectures sensor interfaces and MCU-based control circuits
- Collaborate with hardware controls firmware safety and reliability teams to ensure designs meet aerospace performance and certification requirements
- Generate analysis reports and technical documentation to support design reviews and DO-254/DO-160 compliance
What You Need
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in circuit analysis and simulation for mixed-signal control systems
- Proven expertise conducting WCCA DFMEA and margin analysis on MCU-based boards sensor interfaces or power management systems
- Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools (PSpice LTSpice HSPICE) and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong understanding of MCU control circuits analog sensor interfaces (resolvers voltage/current sensors) PMICs power sequencing and component derating principles
- Experience working cross-functionally with Safety and Reliability teams on risk assessment
- Understanding of DO-254 DO-160 or similar aerospace/automotive safety standards
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace or automotive electrical systems analysis
- Hands-on experience with DO-254 development and DO-160G testing
- Knowledge of power electronics for motor control or inverter systems
- Proficiency with analysis automation (Python MATLAB scripting)
- Passion for aviation and eVTOLs

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge skills and experience.
