JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development implementation update and follow through of EHS training program content curriculum and materials including but not limited to eLearning video PowerPoint job aides supplemental collateral and support documents. Utilizes working knowledge of learning theory and curriculum development to assist in closing performance gaps aligning content to organizational standards and connecting to desired outcomes and long-term business goals. Collaborates closely with UDX EHS Teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with updates and changes to EHS standards and the global UDX training strategy. This role will be instrumental in the onboarding of EHS Teams at New Venture sites and will likely require travel. Requires a working knowledge of EHS delivered topics learning management systems learning theory as well as practical and graphic design skills.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for collaborating with EHS Program Owners to design develop and curate training curricula collateral and related materials. Ensures all content and presentations remain current relevant to business needs and aligned with brand and intellectual property requirements. Reviews and updates materials to reflect regulatory changes and updates to UDX Standards.
- Partners with EHS Communications Standards and Applications Teams to align content and supplemental materials to the UDX training library. Develops materials related to safety campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with New Venture Teams to verify all Learning Management System (LMS) curricula and assignments are accurate and current prior to site opening and deliver TraintheTrainer support to ensure new site trainers are fully prepared to manage ongoing training needs.
- Ensures LMS is updated with current e-learning modules and assists in validating assignment changes
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent experience is required.
- Bachelors degree in education or Instructional Design is preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of EHS training or practical experience required.
- 2 years design experience required.
- Training and development experience required.
