Job Summary

PARTS SET UP

Family owned Hammon Plating has been in business since 1969. As a leader in the cleaning and plating industry we have set the standard with premium processes and procedures to support semi-conductor biotech solar and a variety of other industries. Location: Salt Lake City Utah Schedule: Full-time M-F

Job Description:

Rack parts securely using appropriate fixtures and tooling.
Plugging masking and racking parts.
Wire handling common use of wire cutters tape andplugs.
Apply masking to areas requiring protection from plating.
Remove masking post-process and inspect for accuracy.
Maintain tools and workstations in clean organized condition.
Ensure parts are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Collaborate with the plating team to meet production schedules

Physical Requirements

Shop experience a plus
Ability to stand stoop bend twist and maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
Complete repetitive movements with hands arms wrists shoulders as necessary
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
Lift move or transport items up to 30 pounds without assistance or injury
Specific visual abilities to examine parts
Wear protective clothing
Ability to work around dust chemicals and other substances
