What will you be doing
Were seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join our HR team on a 12 month FTC in London. You will work closely with the HR team and management team to support the delivery of key objectives in the context of the people agenda. Working in partnership with the business the HR Business Partner will combine an understanding of the organisation and its context with HR expertise in order to tailor business solutions and develop effective interventions to meet organisational needs now and in the future.
As HR Business Partner you will provide commercially focused and pragmatic solutions for all employment related matters influencing the development and delivery of the people strategy ensuring people plans and activities are integrated consistently and coaching managers to foster positive working relationships with employees.
As HR Business Partner your responsibilities will include among others:
- Advise and coach managers through a range of employee relations issues including disciplinary grievance and capability matters
- To support the effective implementation of change management initiatives including medium to large acquisitions and business transformation projects minimising ER impacts
- Understands and applies the companys approach to compensation; manages the compensation review and benchmarking activities for their business area
- Design and deliver Management Information (MI) interpret results to identity trends which translate to HR initiatives present and interpret data to senior management.
- Advise and oversee recruitment within business area ensuring an exceptional end to end recruitment and on-boarding experience for new hires in associated business area. Work closely with Finance to track and manage headcount budget
- To assist the HR Operations team to meet performance objectives and deliver a commercial customer focused approach across all activities in the department while building a high-performance culture which reinforces our values and behaviours and is underpinned by strong performance management capability
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you should:
- In depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience in resolving complex people related issues with an understanding of the regulatory framework affecting financial services
- Strong commercial and business acumen in order to assess risk and opportunities for the organisation
- Resilient with an ability to work at pace and deliver against established personal and team targets
- Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal skills and strong analytical skills
- Strong influencing skills the ability to adapt style to different audiences and gravitas to build credibility easily
- CIPD qualified
