Job Summary
As a Permanent Part Time Cook your role is pivotal in maintaining the sparkle of our kitchen. Working as part of the Kitchen team this position involves assisting the chefs with food preparation (mis en place) ensuring a clean and tidy work area at all times and collaborating seamlessly to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.
- Ensure your area of the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standards
- Receive deliveries unpack produce and store stock.
- General Kitchen cleaning tasks.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Passionate about cooking and customer service
- Experience in the food industry preferred.
- Completion of Food Safety/Food Handling course preferred.
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Valid working rights for Australia
