The Hilton New York Midtownis looking for a Safety and Security Coordinator to join our team.

Its all about location in New York City and this 1878-room property places you right in the heart of the action within walking distance of a multitude of famous attractions including Central Park Radio City Music Hall MOMA and Broadway.

The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role experience in guest relations and full schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays.

Shift Pattern: Full availability needed including weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $31.25 - $33.65 / hour

What will I be doing

As aSafety and Security Coordinator you would be responsible for administering all administrative duties for the Security department.

Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Administer policies and procedures of the Lost and Found department. Requires sorting through and logging incoming items searching for property and contacting guests. Use Lost and Found tracking software to maintain all relevant records.
  • Administer payroll for the entire Security department.
  • Assist with investigations guest follows and closing cases using Security technologies: Video management system Access control Key management systems etc.

In addition to the performance of the essential functions this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

  • Receive and log all incoming items for lost and found.
  • Mail ship or otherwise return found property to the owner.
  • Contact via phone all lost property inquiries from guests.
  • Assist security in locating lost property in guest rooms.
  • Maintain all records and logbooks for the lost and found department.
  • Edit daily payroll punches.
  • Administer PAF forms for days off etc. for the Security department.
  • Maintain all payroll records for the Security department.
  • Assist with investigations guest follow-up up and closing cases using Security technologies - Video management system Access control Key management systems etc.
  • Assist Security management team.
