Experience in the Point-of-Purchase display industry is a plus but not mandatory. This is a full-time in-person position with a competitive salary benefits package and opportunity for growth in a fast-paced production Responsibilities:Preparation of creative layouts and production art following direction from customer contacts style guides and graphic design managerDecoration of prototypes including creation of artwork and hand application of graphics to various materials and retail structuresRecommendations of substrates printing methods and techniques to best hit quality and cost requirements of projectCreate imposition layouts of artwork for best yieldCreate review and manage proofs and customer approvals to ensure quality and accuracyMaintain artwork filesOrganize and maintain files on the networkKeep print queues free from outdated filesPerform color matching to PMS color or provided sampleMake color corrections to existing artExpertly work in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and InDesign SoftwareProvide prepress support for: Fuji Film Acuity Large Format Flatbed UV Printer Kongsberg CNC Cutter Roland Eco-Solvent Printer/CutterOperate Kongsberg Precision Cutting Console Esko I-Cut Color gate Production Server and Roland Versa works softwareAssist and occasionally direct Print OperatorsRequirements:3-5 years experience working as a Graphic Designer or Pre-Press or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design or appropriate industry be able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated and willing to learn printing techniques for retail displaysDetail-oriented organized and a team player with strong interpersonal communication skillsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusOpportunities for Growth:You will have the opportunity to gain experience and new skills and acquire new knowledge that can be applied to grow into new positions with higher pay.
