Finance Operations Specialist

At Fashion Cloud we are building Europes leading B2B platform for the fashion wholesale industry. Our solution connects brands and retailers through smart digital workflows helping them collaborate more efficiently by sharing product data placing orders and managing collections all in one place.

What Youll Be Doing

• Youll work closely with our CFO and take ownership of a broad range of finance activities.

• Youll handle purchase invoices customer invoicing and payments ensuring everything runs accurately and on time.

• Youll support the month-end closing process and prepare clear monthly financial reports.

• Youll work with our People & Culture team on operational topics including salary payments and contract management.

• Youll be responsible for VAT filings and other recurring finance obligations.

• Alongside the day-to-day work youll help improve and professionalize our finance setup. This includes optimizing financial systems improving monthly reporting and supporting the setup and further development of Exact Online as part of our 2026 projects.

This is a broad hands-on role where you are encouraged to think along ask questions and propose smart solutions.

About you

• You are someone who enjoys responsibility works accurately and feels at home in a dynamic environment

• HBO working and thinking level with education in Finance or Accounting and 2-5 years of relevant working experience

• Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP accounting principles

• Experience with VAT and payroll tax filings

• Experience with Exact Online and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets

• Experience with Younium Bright Analytics Personio and/or Loket is a plus

• Accurate well-organized and proactive working style

• Comfortable working with short communication lines

• Youre proficient in both Dutch and English

• Curious eager to learn and willing to pick things up independently after some explanation

• Not afraid to ask questions and come up with smart practical solutions
