Job Summary
Nestle Uncle Tobys is a leading organization in FMCG dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services.
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Production Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
Job Summary:The Production Assistant will support the production team in various tasks to ensure efficient operations. This role involves assisting with the preparation assembly and packaging of products as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. A forklift license is highly preferred as the role may involve operating forklifts to move materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production process by preparing materials and equipment.
- Support assembly and packaging of products according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials and products (if licensed).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Forklift license is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
- The work environment may be noisy and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
*Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
* Upon progression on all steps Successful candidates are required to attend mandatory fulltime 4-6weeks on-site training.
