The Program provides resume and job search support support with interview preparation and education on workplace rights and responsibilities. The Program also assists people to connect with community organisations and social OpportunityFor this role you will need:Good conversational skills and the ability to relate to and empathise with a broad range of people including those with different lived experiences abilities and culturesThe ability to support processes tasks and resources required to deliver the ProgramAn overall understanding of Australian workplace cultureTo be comfortable using computers and providing administrative supportThe ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundariesRed Cross will ensure you have training ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian ImpactAs an Employment & Participation volunteer you will help to increase the skills of migrants in transition to navigate the Australian job market and improve their social connections. Application requirementsFor this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check which will be organised through Red CrossTo submit this an application you will need provide details for two professional referencesThe role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory.
