Job Summary
Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Business Technology Department within the Finance Division. You will act as the Product Owner for Finance Systems partnering closely with Finance business users IT Division and vendors to plan design and implement Finance digital initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of finance processes and how these functions are performed in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the product roadmap for Finance systems ensuring alignment between Finance process needs and system capabilities.
Collaborate with functional teams to identify define and document business needs user requirements and system enhancements.
Lead business process reviews and formulate use cases with business users.
Manage the end-to-end delivery for new projects and enhancements including:
- Requirements gathering functional design and solution validation.
- Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders for smooth delivery and achievement of business KPIs.
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring business requirements are met.
- Driving change management communications and post-implementation reviews.
Provide operational support for Finance systems:
- Guide users on system usage authorisation and administration.
- Manage incident resolution and periodic system tasks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support audits and compliance reviews of Finance IT applications.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance Computer Science Business IT or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in Finance Business Technology or ERP system implementation.
Prior hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA FI & CO modules and strong understanding of core Finance processes (e.g. General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders).
Mid-career professionals with finance background transitioning into digital or product ownership roles are strongly preferred.
Experience in Agile delivery and stakeholder management is an advantage.
Exposure to tools such as SharePoint and Tableau will be beneficial.
Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Proven project management skills
Ability to work independently prioritise effectively and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
