Best Buy is seeking an Associate Director of Product Management to join the Pricing & Offers Team to lead high performing teams of Product Managers serving our Deals & Promotional Experiences.
The Associate Director of Product Management is a strategic product leader responsible for translating company objectives into clear product direction and ensuring teams are focused on solving the right problemsnot just building features. This role brings deep customer and domain understanding to shape product strategy guide prioritization and trade-offs and create clarity where it matters most. The Associate Director also supports and develops product managers helping them deliver impactful data-informed solutions at scale while growing talent and strengthening product execution across teams.
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What youll do
- Own and evolve product strategy for a defined product area aligning it with company goals and customer needs
- Develop deep understanding of users market and domain using research and data to inform decisions
- Lead and mentor product managers helping them improve product thinking prioritization and execution
- Translate strategy into clear roadmaps balancing short-term impact with long-term vision
- Partner with engineering and design leadership to ensure strong discovery delivery and quality outcomes
- Drive alignment across stakeholders clearly communicating priorities trade-offs and progress
- Set and track success metrics using outcomes to guide iteration and investment
- Identify risks and opportunities early making thoughtful decisions in ambiguous situations
- Drive a culture of testing iteration and measurement using data and customer insights to validate assumptions and continuously improve product outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in product management with experience leading complex product areas
- 2 years of experience leading project execution through strategic direction cross-functional influence and/or direct people management.
- 2 years of relevant experience in strategy creation customer-focused solutioning cross-functional leadership or related
- Exceptional communication stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
- Ability to synthesize data and insights to influence decision-making and drive strategic outcomes.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in IT Computer Science Engineering Business Marketing or related field OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ecommerce or retail domains particularly at scale is preferred
- Proven experience leading ecommerce products at scale with ownership over high-traffic high-revenue customer journeys
