What You Will Do:

As a Production Test Engineer(PTE)on the 2nd Shift youre part of a manufacturing team that supportsthetest process through one or more phases of the product life cycle including product development transition to production sustained production and depot activities.

As a PTE youll validateandensurecomplianceof the prime hardwareto technical data package requirementsand supporting test also troubleshoot and problem solve around test failures and youllidentifyopportunities to improve efficiency yields and capacity in test processes.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Troubleshooting and providing accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
• Creating and maintaining spares and the test equipment obsolescence plan.
• Creating of Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs to add additional capacity new capabilities and equipment obsolescence.
• Leading projects to reduce test time and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends failure mode and test yields.
• Developing test flows and contributing to test capacity analysis.
• Maintaining changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings test instructions test position manuals and system software.
• Assisting in non-routine fault isolation diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
• Leading root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans.
• Performing risk assessments and supporting the programs risk register reviews.
• Leading projects with responsibility for execution.

This job is posted as ONSITE and is located at Raytheons facility at Redstone Arsenal AL.

This is a 2nd Shift Job.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
