As an Echo Tech/Sonographer you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.

To be successful you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy proficient technical skills and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

• Operation of Cardiac Ultra Sound Equipment.
• Able to perform a complete array of Diagnostic Ultra Sound Procedures as ordered by a Physician.
• Able to select proper probe to obtain excellent results for Cardiologist interpretation.
• Able to trouble shoot equipment in determining possible failure.
• Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
• Transmits digital images to the PACS system for archiving and retrieval of patient information for filming.

Required

• High School Graduate Technologist will have graduated from a Cardiac Echo ultrasound program.
• Technologist will have a minimum of 2 years experience performing 2-D M-Modeand Color Flow Doppler Echos on adults. upon hire or
• High School GED upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo upon hire
