The HR Manager is responsible for leading all human resource functions and supporting the development and implementation of workplace health and safety initiatives. This position provides day-to-day HR support to employees and managers while ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures. We are looking for an individual who is collaborative energetic and enthusiastic while handling multiple priorities with a high level of successful candidates responsibilities will include:Human ResourcesAdminister HR policies procedures and programs consistent with company and corporate guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations attendance and performance recruitment and onboarding for unionized and salaried with labour and employee relation concerns including grievances. Support training development and engagement initiatives to build a strong workplace accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment payroll and benefits information with Corporate HR and HR support to a small group of U.S.-based employees on general HR matters outside of local legislative requirements working in partnership with the U.S. HR Manager to ensure alignment and consistency in company closely with the Facilities Manager the HR manager will:Support and enhance workplace safety initiatives Assist with safety programs and training coordination Ensure ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety standards. The HR Manager willPromote a proactive safety mindset through employee engagement communication and integration of safety practices into onboarding and broader HR ideal candidate for this position will have: Post-secondary education in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.5 years of progressive HR experience preferably in a manufacturing with Manitoba employment and safety interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with corporate designation considered an asset.
