Job Description
The position involves operating specialized inspection equipment and applying comprehensive knowledge of construction disciplines including civil architectural mechanical electrical and electronic engineering principles. Responsibilities include reading and analyzing designs and blueprints to interpret the architects intended use as well as identifying structural complexities that may conceal ulterior purposes. The role requires expertise in Technical Surveillance Countermeasures and familiarity with devices used by both hostile and friendly intelligence services for clandestine surveillance. Additional duties include writing detailed reports in English analyzing findings and security situations requiring staff action and maintaining accurate daily logs throughout the tour of duty.

Key Duties
  • Operate proposed inspection equipment
  • Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines to include civil architectural mechanical electrical and electronic engineering principles.
  • Read and analyze designs and blueprints and recognize the architects intended use.
  • Analyze designs and structural complexities which are intended to mask an ulterior purpose not intended by the architect.
  • Exercise knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures construction principles and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.
  • Write detailed reports in English and complete the analyses of issues findings and security situations which require staff action.
  • Maintain daily logs during their tour of duty.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Have and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with polygraph U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Active CST certification preferred.
  • In good physical health and meet medical requirements for the position.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experienced in the use of alarm systems metal detectors x-ray device and closed-circuit television systems.
  • Minimumfive yearsexperience in at least one of the following areas of expertise: construction security surveillance technical surveillance countermeasures industrial or government security involving counterintelligence construction quality assurance or hands-on supervisory construction.
  • May be required to take and successfully pass a blue-print reading pre-test to verify minimum skills in reading drawing/blueprints.
  • Capable of learning principles of all construction disciplines to include Civil Architectural and Mechanical Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Capable of reading and analyzing designs/blueprints and recognizing architects intended use.
  • Capable of analyzing designs and structural complexities which are intended to mask an ulterior purpose not wanted by the architect.
  • Have knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures construction principles and devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.
  • Familiarity with the IC Tech Spec Version 1.5.1 for ICD/ICS 705
  • Able to effectively communicate in English as well as be able to write detailed reports analyses of problems findings and security situations which require staff actions.

Compensation

Local: $66.00 hourly

If candidates reside within 50 miles of the worksite they are considered Local candidates and do not qualify for per diem

TDY:

Hourly Rate:$40.00

OT Rate:$60.00

7 Days Per Week MIE:$68.00

7 Days Per Week Lodging Stipend:$100.00

Mileage to the site from HOR:$0.72 per mile
