Job Summary

cFocus Software seeks an Application Programmer to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
35 years of experience in application programming or software development.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Proficiency in at least one enterprise programming language (e.g. Java C# PL/SQL or similar).
Experience supporting web-based and database-driven applications.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of DoD or federal cybersecurity requirements including RMF and STIGs.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation

Duties:

Develop modify and maintain application source code in support of DSAID sustainment and enhancement activities.
Implement approved Change Requests (CRs) and backlog items in accordance with Agile sprint schedules.
Support corrective adaptive perfective and preventive software maintenance activities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily scrums sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Perform unit testing and support automated testing activities within the DevSecOps pipeline.
Troubleshoot application issues perform root cause analysis and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents.
Support integration testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases.
Ensure application code complies with DMDC coding standards cybersecurity requirements and STIG guidance.
Support RMF activities by addressing application-related security findings and vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including design artifacts release notes and runbooks.
Collaborate with Systems Analysts Database teams QA staff and Cybersecurity personnel.
Support application interfaces APIs and data exchanges with internal and external systems.
Assist with cloud migration modernization and performance optimization initiatives

Required Experience:

Senior IC
