Benefits Analyst is part of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence and is responsible for overseeing the administration of various non-U.S. employee benefit plans. This role provides strategic oversight and governance for benefits operations ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with company policies. The position collaborates with a Shared Services team that handles vendor management and Tier 2 escalations while serving as the primary point of contact for Tier 3 escalations related to employee benefits. Buenos Aires position will be responsible for various countries in all other regions except for the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee administration of non-U.S. benefit programs including health welfare and other country-specific offerings.
    • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Partner with various teams and vendors for accurate and timely delivery of benefits.
  • Governance & Collaboration:
    • Provide oversight and guidance to the Shared Services group responsible for vendor management and Tier 2 escalations.
    • Establish governance frameworks and escalation protocols between CoE and Shared Services.
    • Monitor service delivery and ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance standards.
  • Escalation Management:
    • Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for benefits inquiries and issues resolving complex cases in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
    • Serve as subject matter expert for HR payroll and regional teams on benefit-related matters.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
    • Oversee vendor governance strategy and performance reviews in partnership with Shared Services.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with benefit providers brokers and consultants.
    • Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Process Improvement & Governance:
    • Develop and implement standardized processes for benefits administration.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in HRIS and vendor systems.
    • Support audits and reporting requirements for benefits programs.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Collaborate with Total Rewards leadership to evaluate and enhance benefits offerings.
    • Provide insights on market trends and regulatory changes impacting international benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years of previous experience in benefits administration HR or related field.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and resolving escalated issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of various employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and leave policies.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate benefit plans and proposals.
  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Proven ability to manage complex escalations and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
  • Experience managing governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration with Shared Services or similar operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and regions.
  • Flexible shift when required to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional languages will be valued
  • Experience in global benefits administration with strong knowledge of non-U.S. benefit programs and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with global benefits platforms is a plus.
