Job Summary
Overview
Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add qualified Service Cashier to our team at Bob Howard Buick GMC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Always maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
- Inspect service repair orders and parts invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile repair orders and ensure proper documentation
- Calculate charges for materials labor taxes and warranty as applicable
- Collect payments (cash check or authorized charge) and provide receipts/change
- Document charge purchases per office policies
- Complete accounting sections of repair orders as directed
- Accumulate and submit all closed repair orders and invoices daily
- Handle and account for daily cash transactions
- Return customer keys upon payment and direct them to their vehicles
- Answer service department calls transfer appropriately and take messages when needed
