Industrial Coating Intern

You will work with the technical team to support different stages of coating product development and testing. This includes conducting laboratory experiments analyzing chemical compositions supporting process optimization and contributing to technical documentation. You will work with industrial coating technologies and quality assurance protocols in a manufacturing environment. You will record experimental output in a condensed tabulated or graphic form to communicate results. You will need to understand and practice EHS processes relevant to the job in the working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the formulation and testing of industrial coating products under guidance.

• Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate physical and chemical properties of coatings.

• Support lab work activities by performing sample analysis and data recording.

• Help in troubleshooting technical issues related to coating application and performance.

• Participate in process optimization projects to enhance product efficiency and reduce waste.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments test results and observations.

• Collaborate with teams including R&D production and quality assurance.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

• Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings.

Qualifications

• Applied Chemistry / Chemical Engineering degree student

• Basic knowledge of chemistry.

• Good eyesight with the ability to perceive slight colour differences (not colour blind).

• Maintain focus on achieving goals and deliver high-quality outcomes
