Respiratory Therapist (Diagnostic LabHyperbaric Medicine) University Campus (80-100)

• Selected candidates with 2 years of experience may be eligible for a $10000 sign-on incentive if all qualifications are met including a minimum two-year commitment. ($5000 sign-on for candidates with less than 2 years of experience). Current UI employees are not eligible.
• This position will also be eligible to receive an additional advanced respiratory care services differential up to $5000 (prorated based off percentage).

To be responsible for the delivery of respiratory care including pulmonary endoscopy pulmonary function testing pulmonary exercise and metabolic testing upper airway mechanics discharge planning patient education medical gas therapy medicated aerosol therapy blood gas sampling non-invasive monitoring patient assessments aerosol therapy and ventilator management. Staff member will be trained in hyperbaric medicine as an attending inside the multi-place chamber. This position has on-call assignments. *Respiratory Therapists mustbe a graduate of a Commission of Accreditation Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program.

Employment is subject to physical exam and a successful test hyperbaric dive.

Salary: Yearly Minimum $57071 for 100% time (competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends)
