Job Summary
The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Multiple full-time and part-time positions available immediately.
Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess the ability design coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course
- Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred
- Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens tees fairways roughs and landscaping
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations
- Ability to give oral and written instructions
- Skilled in seeding fertilizing mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
- Must be dependable
Responsibilities:
- Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
- Mows greens aprons fairways roughs tees and other areas
- Waters tees greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
- Repairs the irrigation system pipes and irrigation heads as needed
- Grades and prepares soil base lays sod and seeds greens tees and fairways
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
- Applies pesticides herbicides and fertilizers to the golf course
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
