As aMarina Dock Attendantyou willbe responsible forassistingwith the safe docking and undocking of vesselsmonitoringdock conditions and ensuring boats are securelytiedand connections are safe. You willalsoprovide courteousguestservice tomarinatenantsandguestsandassistwith requests.
Essential Functions
- Professionallyassistarriving anddepartingmarina tenants andguestswith docking and undocking vessels including line handling fender placement and safe passenger movements.
- Monitor docks and slips checking vessel tieâups power connections and general dock safety.
- Provide customer service to boat owners and guests offering directions fuelassistance and basic information about marina services.
- Ensure the Marina slips and surrounding areasremainclean and wellmaintained.
- Respond to minor onâwater or dockside issues (e.g. loose lines minor spills) and promptly notify management of hazards or incidents.
- Support marina office operations by relaying information taking simple requests fromtenants/guests andcoordinatingwith other staff.
- Adhere to all marina safety rules PPE requirements and emergency procedures including assisting in drills as needed.
- Lift move and secure equipment supplies and small marine parts asrequiredto support daily operations.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities daily functions and be able toassisttenants/guests with directions and questions ensuring satisfaction.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with co-workers and other departments to support overall hotel operations and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all hotel policies standard operating procedures service standards and emergency and safety procedures.
- Performadditionalassigned duties as needed adhering to attendance reliability and constantly striving to improve service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of andcomply withdepartmental policies service procedures 4 Keys service standards and safety and security procedures.
- Perform alladditionalduties asassigned by management.
Skills and Abilities
- Understand the mission vision and goals of the hotel.
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- General knowledge of the city wherethe hotelislocatedand its attractions.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel itsservicesand facilities.â
- Strong teamplayer able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.

- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to60 poundsfrequentlytoassistguests
