The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating glaucoma as well as performing surgical procedures related to the condition. Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat patients with glaucoma
- Perform surgical procedures to manage and treat glaucoma
- Collaborate with other ophthalmologists and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Stay current on advancements in glaucoma treatment and surgical techniques
- Participate in practice development and growth initiatives
Requirements: - Medical degree and completion of residency in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Glaucoma Surgery
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Licensure to practice in the state of California
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating glaucoma
- Excellent surgical skills and ability to perform a variety of glaucoma procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pacific Eye Surgeons is a multi-subspecialty physician ownedgroup of 25 MDs and 5 ODs. Subspecialties represented in our group include cornea and refractive surgery retina glaucoma peds plastics and anterior segment specialists average over 500 cataracts each per year operating in our physician owned ambulatory surgery center. We have 5 operating rooms onsite managed by a very efficient team of nurses and staff.
