Production Lead 2nd Shift

You will guide production teams support equipment reliability and uphold the quality and safety standards that keep our operations running at a high level. Job Details

• Position Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)

• Pay Range: $24.24$26.50 per hour (based on skills and experience)

• Work Location: Onsite Sterling IL 61081 (Building 2)

• Shift: 2:30 pm -11:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shift activities to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.

• Perform equipment setup basic maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve technical and quality issues.

• Assist with machinery operation to maintain consistent production flow.

• Complete production records and required documentation accurately and on time.

• Maintain clear communication across shifts and with management to ensure continuity.

• Reassign team members as needed to support workflow coverage and changing production demands.

• Inspect materials products and equipment to verify compliance with quality standards.

• Champion process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Coach team members on processes policies and performance expectations.

• Assist with data collection and reporting for key production metrics.

• Follow all Safety Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Required)

• High School Diploma or GED

• 4 years of manufacturing experience including operating powered industrial equipment

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage complex issues

• Comprehensive working knowledge of production processes and equipment

• Experience providing leadership coaching or mentoring to a production team
