Job Summary
We are seeking a creative motivated and confident Design Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Southend-on-Sea from January. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed DT practitioner to deliver engaging practical and design-focused lessons across KS3KS4 with potential KS5 teaching opportunities.
The successful teacher will join a supportive DT faculty with excellent facilities including industry-standard workshops CAD/CAM technology 3D printers and strong technician support.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Design Technology Product Design Engineering or similar
PGCE / QTS
Experience teaching DT at KS3KS4
Strong understanding of workshop practice and safe use of machinery
Commitment to fostering creativity innovation and practical problem-solving
