SUMMARY: Responsible for keeping the physical plant in clean and orderly condition for employees and visitors by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and punctual attendance is required Overtime hours may be required if needed Sweeps and mops production areas and break room according to schedule. Empties plants trash and garbage containers daily. Cleans and maintains restrooms. Restocks supplies for production areas restrooms shipping/receiving. Refills Coke machine as needed. Cleans walls trim and other surfaces in halls or production areas as needed. Clean windows throughout the facility as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Mechanical background helpful. Hazardous Waste Management Training either in-house training or other equivalent Hazardous Waste training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions by written and oral. Able to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
