Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a secure long-term role in a modern fabrication environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team where quality safety and teamwork are at the heart of everything they do.
This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and takes pride in producing accurate high-quality components.
Key responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings job cards and production schedules.
- Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials.
- Preparing setting and adjusting machines to meet job specifications.
- Measuring aligning and securing materials for accurate bending.
- Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Maintaining a clean safe and organised working area.
- Working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet targets.

Essential Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience operating press brake equipment in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A flexible can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with tooling selection and press brake set-up.
- Experience working to quality and inspection standards.
- Previous experience in a fabrication department.
