The Enterprise Business Analyst (EBA) will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs of Fiserv clients. The EBA will then ensure that the requirements are accurately documented allowing technical teams implement the defined solution. This person should work under less direct supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
This position will be supporting the strategic build out of our next generation payments acceptance platform for In Store (Card Present) payments.
Key responsibilities
Act as an Enterprise Business Analyst within the POS product team driving the end-to-end requirements definition for a next generation payments acceptance platform.
Own and manage the product backlog ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Define and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria focusing on business outcomes and customer experience rather than technical details.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders (product managers project managers operations compliance) to capture requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
Work within an Agile Scrum team ensuring smooth delivery of features and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Provide structured communication and stakeholder management ensuring transparency on progress risks and dependencies.
Anticipate post-production impacts and ensure readiness for operational support and client adoption.
Assess cross-functional impacts across multiple stakeholders and minimize rework by driving clarity and alignment early in the process.
Champion end-to-end thinking ensuring that solutions meet regulatory operational and customer experience requirements.
Qualifications :
5 years experience in product ownership business analysis or similar roles within Payments POS acquiring or financial technology.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in backlog management.
Proven ability to translate business needs into product features and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with payment ecosystems POS terminals and acquiring processes is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; proactive in meeting deadlines.
Ability to work in a multinational cross-functional environment.
Skilled in documentation and presentation (Word PowerPoint Visio); proficiency in Jira and Confluence for backlog and workflow management.
Analytical mindset with a focus on business value and customer experience.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
