We are seeking a Programme Manager to own the delivery status reporting and overall co-ordination for Android-based card acceptance application initiatives. You will lead cross-functional delivery across platforms and devices provide regular and transparent reporting to stakeholders and ensure the programme meets its scope schedule and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the programme delivery plan: translate product roadmaps into a coordinated set of projects milestones and releases across Android platforms applications and data services.
- Establish and maintain programme governance: set up steering committees working groups change-control processes and decision forums; ensure clear roles and responsibilities.
- Drive reporting and transparency: produce and maintain dashboards RAG status milestone trackers RAID logs and executive summaries; deliver scheduled updates to senior stakeholders and the steering committee.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery: align engineering QA product UX infrastructure security and business teams to manage dependencies interfaces and handovers.
- Manage risks issues and escalations: identify quantify and mitigate risks; own escalation paths and ensure timely resolution of impediments.
- Oversee release and deployment coordination: manage release schedules cutover plans regression windows and post-release reviews across multi-device environments.
- Monitor delivery metrics and benefits realisation: define KPIs track velocity quality indicators and business outcomes and drive corrective actions where required.
- Resource and vendor coordination: collaborate with resource managers and third-party suppliers to secure capacity competencies and delivery commitments.
- Provide technical and delivery guidance: liaise with technical leads and infrastructure teams to ensure implementation aligns with platform requirements security and compliance standards (PCI NEXO).
- Coach and influence teams: promote a delivery-oriented culture mentor programme leads and support continuous improvement in delivery practices.
Primary Objectives:
- Deliver Android-based card acceptance applications and platform components on time to scope and to the agreed quality standards across target devices.
- Provide consistent accurate and timely status reporting that enables senior leaders to make informed decisions.
- Maintain high customer and stakeholder satisfaction through proactive communication predictable delivery and rapid resolution of issues.
- Ensure effective cross-team coordination and integration with infra security and operations to support deployment and ongoing operations.
- Recommend and implement pragmatic delivery improvements and strategies that support business goals and future scalability.
Qualifications :
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven experience managing programmes in a large enterprise environment preferably in fintech payments or point-of-sale ecosystems.
- Strong programme management skills: roadmap-to-release planning governance risk management benefit tracking and financial awareness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex status and trade-offs succinctly to executives.
- Demonstrable experience of leading high-performing agile delivery teams and applying agile/DevOps practices at programme scale.
- Solid technical understanding of POS application development and delivery including multi-device considerations.
- Familiarity with Android development concepts and ecosystems; awareness of Java/Kotlin system integration terminal payment flows and relevant industry standards (PCI NEXO).
- Practical experience with tools and artefacts: JIRA Confluence MS Project (or equivalent) reporting dashboards and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capability with attention to detail and a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills across business product and technology functions.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Professional programme/project management qualifications preferred (Prince2 MSP PMP) and/or recognised Agile certifications (PSM SAFe CSM).
- Business or payments-related qualifications or demonstrable domain experience are advantageous.
