Opal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner and CMMS Leader to join the team at our fast-paced manufacturing site in Revesby NSW.

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager the key focus of this role will be to:

Oversee the management of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure optimum plant performance is achieved and maintained
Fully utilize SAP PM functionality managing assets tracking performance recording maintenance history and life-cycle data in order to drive informed decision-making & ensure optimization
Develop strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment and optimise maintenance systems (CMMS) to achieve target reliability at optimum cost with the best possible utilisation of resources
Analyse maintenance data to assess the balance between preventative and reactive activities identifying trends and improvement opportunities
Ensuring shift coverage for works to be completed & engaging with external contractors
Assisting with root cause analysis when required

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

Experience within a similar role in a high-speed manufacturing environment
Prior experience in fully-utilizing & knowledge about SAP systems for maintenance activities (this is a prerequisite for this role)
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
The ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong prioritization skills adaptability and the ability to remain calm under pressure
An understanding of total productive maintenance and root cause analysis methodologies
Demonstrated experience analysing data and clearly communicating data-driven insights to inform decision-making
