SALARY RANGE: $86824.00 - $98436.00

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HRIS Analyst supports the functional implementation optimization and maintenance of the universitys implemented human resource information system currently an Oracle Human Capital Management product branded as UWinsite People. This role acts as a liaison between human resources (HR) stakeholders system partners (Finance Payroll IT Services) and external vendors/consultants to ensure HRIS configurations and data solutions meet the organizations needs.

This position will serve as the go-to subject matter expert for human resources related functionality used in the organization and is pivotal in supporting internal stakeholders to translate human resources related business needs and desired outcomes into technical requirements for system configuration or enhancement. The HRIS Analyst will advise HR functional users in the development and documentation of business processes act as an escalation point for trouble shooting issues and coordinate or provide direct support to the implementation of solutions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelors degree in business computer science or a related field with 3-5 years of practical experience in business analysis and/or system implementation.
Demonstrated familiarity with HR functions principles practices and related business processes.
Proficiency in HCM Oracle (UWinsite People) or similar HR information systems including configuration troubleshooting and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in identifying requirements mapping developing and implementing business process improvements policy changes and tools to support organizational needs and compliance. Human Resources specific experience would be an asset.
Familiarity with analysis reporting and querying complex data sources. Experience with advanced tools such as SQL Power BI or similar platforms would be an asset.
Advanced proficiency in office productivity and collaboration tools ( Office 365) and applications.
Demonstrated experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices including incident tracking change management and system troubleshooting.
Excellent teamwork collaboration and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive equitable and just work environment to support diverse constituencies and population.
Experience working with sensitive data and adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.
