Ascend Intern - City of Sioux Falls Civic Analytics GIS & Data
Job Summary
- Provide support and analysis to the City of Sioux Falls enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) enterprise asset management and data governance programs.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Citys tabular planimetric topographic topologic cadastral and geospatial datasets.
- Design develop and evaluate solutions using the ArcGIS stack business intelligence tools models automation and other related applications.
- Create edit manage analyze report display and publish solutions using spatial and other data analysis procedures.
- This is a 2026 summer internship.
Minimum Qualifications
- Students enrolled in a Geography GIS or Data Science curriculum or related field as a full-time student at a college university or vocational technical school.
- Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
