What youll do...

Leads and Develops Teams
  • Teaches trains and actively listens to associates.
  • Tours stores and provides feedback (Tour to Teach).
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Utilizes technology business initiatives merchandising and company direction.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts.
  • Provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
Models Exceptional Customer Service
  • Demonstrates the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives (e.g. Store of the Community community outreach programs).
  • Ensures customer needs complaints and issues are resolved.
  • Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives Financial Performance and Sales
  • Reviews and evaluates P&L (Profit & Loss) statements.
  • Manages and assists in budgeting forecasting and controlling expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation seasonal transitions inventory flow and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides Supervision and Development Opportunities
  • Hires trains and mentors associates.
  • Assigns duties and sets clear expectations.
  • Provides associate recognition and communicates expectations consistently.
  • Promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.

The annual salary range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)

State Pay Differential:

This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed there are no minimum qualifications.

2 years of college; OR 1 years retail experience and 1 years supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 years
supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific
Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying may require a
current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example Academy trainings Open
Door trainings etc.).
