Medcan is recruiting for a CasualMammography/BMDTechnologist to join our growing high-performance clinical team. We are seeking an experienced and client focused professional with a great attitude. The role is accountable for the effective delivery ofbone density and mammography exams for clients during their Annual Health Assessment and other services at Medcan. This role will also assist with facilitating the flow of patients through the Clinic and coordinating with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service.
This is a casual positionwith shifts primarily scheduled on Saturdays.
Our Downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St. (York and Adelaide) which is nearby St. Andrew and King subway stations or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!
What Youll Do:
- Patient preparation for and performance of mammograms bone density scans and x-rays following the required guidelines for the procedures
- Record and process patient data
- Operate and maintain equipment and perform basic quality control checks
- Update file and maintain client information
- Review of previous reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists
- Prepare for the next days client list by checking for previous exams
- Assist the clinic with other duties as appropriate
What Youll Need:
- Member of CMRITO
- Bone Density and Mammography Experiencepreferred
- Superior organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
Position Pay Range
$35.43 - $48.72 CAD per hourPay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidates experience and qualifications within the roles compensation grade. Medcans compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills market value and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks benefits and potential bonuses or incentives.
