Role Purpose:
To lead and coordinate New product introduction (NPI) projects within the plant ensuring cross-functional readiness and alignment with global requirements. The NPI engineer acts as project engineer directly reporting to the Engineering manager responsible for driving design process quality and supply chain readiness for new product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate NPI projects ensuring timelines deliverables and readiness across functions.
Act as key interface between plant engineering production quality SCM and global teams for new product introduction.
Prepare and maintain NPI project plans risk assessments and progress reports.
Ensure process validation WI/SOP updates and equipment/tooling readiness for new products.
Coordinate BOM accuracy engineering documentation and change implementation related to NPI.
Support pilot builds collect feedback and drive corrective actions.
Provide technical and project leadership escalating issues to Engineering manager when needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of NPI processes and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Electrical or related).
710 years experience in engineering with proven record in NPI project engineering or manufacturing project management.
Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Solid knowledge of process validation documentation control and change management.
Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and Thai.
Proficiency in ERP/PLM and Jira systems (Odoo SAP or equivalent).
