Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill theirAutomation Test Engineerposition! This is a12 month contract opportunityand will be hybrid inBuffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium Cucumber TestNG or similar.
Build and maintain a reliable scalable automation framework that supports continuous integration and testing.
Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA team members to review requirements and develop test strategies.
Perform functional regression and performance testing.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results to ensure software quality.
Track and document defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Provide timely and accurate QA status reports and metrics.

What Youll Need to Have:

Experience testing APIs and UI using Selenium or a comparable tool.
Hands-on experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
3 years of experience in test automation in a software development environment.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
Experience with automation tools like Selenium JUnit/TestNG Cucumber or Cypress.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Range:$50-$65/hr
